IDP REP FORUM MEETING

On 21 May GKM held the IDP REP Forum Meeting which was convened and by Hon Mayor Cllr NW Tekile.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the Draft Integrated Development Plan (IDP), PMS, Budget and Policies for the 2026/27 financial year.

Hon Mayor outlined the IDP process and explained why the attendees were gathered in Qumrha Today. It is a compliance meeting which must sit to table the draft Documents mentioned above before council approval prior to the commencement of a new financial year. Stakeholders have to be engaged because IDP is rooted in planning for the people with the people.

The draft IDP and Budget were presented and stakeholders present engaged its contents, while also requesting that additions be made.
