Nomination of Ward Committee kuBhola in Ward 3<\/p>\n

On 26 May 2026 the Public Participation Office presided over the election of a new Ward Committee in Ward 3. Mr Blom chaired the session<\/p>\n

Ward committees are responsible for bridging the gap between the community and the Ward Cllr.<\/p>\n

The ward committee had to be replaced due to a problem that arose following the replacement of the previous ward committee who stepped down due to being very busy.<\/p>\n

Ward Committees must:
\n\u2757\ufe0fBe registered to vote in the VD
\n\u2757\ufe0fHave no municipal Arrears
\n\u2757\ufe0fNot writing at the municipality (Local and District)
\n\u2757\ufe0fHas no criminal Case as of 1997 Feb
\n\u2757\ufe0fMust be of sound mind
\n\u2757\ufe0fMust be able to write as monthly reports are submitted monthly.
\n\u2757\ufe0fRepresents all community members, regardless of their affiliations.
\n\u2757\ufe0fPresent in all safety forums (like CPF)<\/p>\n

The duration of their term is in line with elected Councillors.<\/p>\n

Ms Mavuso Then outlined the nomination process which was then followed.<\/p>\n

Yolanda Mzinani Was nominated by Sakhiwe Noqhali and seconded by Phikiso Magaqa<\/p>\n
