2018/19  Projects

As part of changing the lives of the communities and delivering on its service delivery mandate, the municipality used its Municipal Infrastructure Grant (MIG) to upgrade the infrastructure across 4 of its 7 wards.  Whenever projects are taken on, the end goal is not just to deliver a finished project, rather the end goal is to deliver from start to finish a project that will impact positively on the livelihoods of communities while getting good value for money. All labourers employed on the respective projects were from Great Kei and were ward based. Below is a table which details the projects that we embarked on during the 2018/19 Financial year
